I'm a designer, hiker, & accessibility advocate
I started out animating things. I'd spend hours on transitions that lasted seconds, tweaking details most people would never notice. That obsession with how things behave is what eventually pulled me towards design.
Since then I've worked at BNY Mellon and CNN, working with large systems people depend on. My favorite type of work allows me to go deep problems and come back with something people can actually use.

Outside of design

When I was 11 years old, I went to an estate sale in Harshaw, WI and got my first gaming console (Gameboy Advance) with Pokemon Emerald. Since then, I've grown a passion for thrifting, vintage, and antiques.
Now, I explore this curiosity through design, tech, and art. I'm currently experimenting with analog tech (CRT video synthesis, vintage digicams), as well as clothing mending and sashiko.
