Personalized recipe app with dietary filters and ingredient substitutions
I worked as a solo Product Designer building an app that allows users to edit ingredients in existing recipes, change ingredient portions, and substitute ingredients using AI. I am currently experimenting with AI coding tools in developing MixMaster.

Informed by feedback from UX professor and 20+ peers, MixMaster improved recipe adaptability, allowing users to swap ingredients and adjust portions. Users noted the prototype effectively addressed dietary needs, reduced food waste, and simplified meal prep.

I conducted a user interview and spoke with Na, a person who doesn't like to cook food and orders in food daily from food delivery services.
Na struggles with cooking portions, leading to waste and frustration due to inconsistent amounts of food.
Na faces difficulties with adapting recipes and finding ingredient substitutes, compounded by unclear cooking instructions and videos.

Recipe Directions
Users get detailed directions for their recipe, ensuring they cook a tasty, allergen-safe meal.


Voice Control
While the user's hands are busy/messy during the cooking process, users can utilize voice control to access recipe details or make changes to the recipe.
